About Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a very sophisticated martial art. It is one of three Chinese internal martial arts, the other two being Pakua Chang and Hsing I Chuan. Although Tai Chi is a powerful martial art and is practiced by many people for it's health benefits. Tai Chi is performed very slowly and gracefully so it is ideal for seniors as well as younger people. Tai Chi not only develops muscular stregth but also strengthens the organs, joints and teaches the practitioner relaxation and proper breathing. Tai Chi masters are able to focus their internal energy or "chi" to preform incredible feats with very little apparent effort
